Wybory prezydenckie 2025, or the 2025 Polish presidential election, will be the 13th presidential election since the fall of communism in Poland and the eighth since the enactment of the current constitution. It is scheduled to be held on 10 May 2025, with a potential second round held on 24 May 2025, to elect the President of Poland. The incumbent president, Andrzej Duda, is eligible to run for a second term.
The election is expected to be closely contested, with several major candidates already declaring their intention to run. The main contenders are likely to be Duda, the candidate of the ruling Law and Justice party (PiS), and Rafa Trzaskowski, the mayor of Warsaw and the candidate of the Civic Platform (PO). Other potential candidates include Szymon Hoownia, the leader of the Polska 2050 movement, and Wadysaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, the leader of the Polish People’s Party (PSL).
