The 2025 MotoGP season is the 78th season of Fdration Internationale de Motocyclisme road racing. It began on March 23, 2025, and scheduled to conclude on November 16, 2025. The season will consist of 21 races, with the addition of the new KymiRing in Finland and the return of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to the calendar.
Several notable changes have been made to the regulations for the 2025 season. The minimum age for riders has been raised from 16 to 18, and the number of engines that a rider can use per season has been reduced from seven to five. Additionally, the use of winglets has been banned, and the maximum fuel capacity has been reduced from 22 liters to 20 liters.
