Rip Ride Rockit is a steel roller coaster located at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando, Florida. It opened on June 5, 2009, and was the park’s first roller coaster to feature a non-inverting loop. The ride is themed after rock and roll music, and features a soundtrack that includes songs from Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, and The Rolling Stones.
On September 15, 2022, Universal Orlando Resort announced that Rip Ride Rockit would be closing permanently on January 15, 2025. The closure is part of the resort’s plans to make way for new attractions and experiences.
