The 2025 Ineos Grenadier Quartermaster is a highly anticipated off-road vehicle that is set to rival the likes of the Land Rover Defender and Jeep Wrangler. It is the first model from Ineos Automotive, a British company founded by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the billionaire owner of the chemicals group Ineos. The Quartermaster is based on the original Land Rover Defender, which was discontinued in 2016, and will be powered by BMW engines. It is expected to be priced from around 40,000 when it goes on sale in 2025.
The Quartermaster is designed to be a rugged and capable off-roader, with a ladder frame chassis, solid axles, and a low-range gearbox. It will be available in a variety of configurations, including a two-door station wagon, a four-door station wagon, and a double-cab pickup truck. The Quartermaster will also be offered with a range of optional extras, such as a roof rack, a winch, and a snorkel.
