Presidents Week, also known as Washington’s Birthday, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the birthdays of George Washington, the first president of the United States, and Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth president. It is observed on the third Monday of February, which in 2025 falls on February 17th.
Presidents Week is a time to reflect on the legacy of these two great leaders and their contributions to the founding and development of the United States. It is also a time to celebrate the values of democracy, freedom, and equality that they fought for.
