The Las Vegas Raiders are a professional American football team based in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. They compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) West division. The Raiders franchise was founded in 1960 as the Oakland Raiders and played in Oakland, California, until 2019, when they relocated to Las Vegas. The Raiders have won three Super Bowls, in 1976, 1980, and 1983.
The Raiders are currently coached by Josh McDaniels, who was hired in 2022. McDaniels has a career coaching record of 111-89, and he led the Denver Broncos to a Super Bowl appearance in 2013. However, the Raiders have struggled under McDaniels, going 6-11 in 2022 and missing the playoffs.
